The prize, established by the book publisher Romanus & Selling, will be awarded for the ninth time in 2026 in conjunction with International Women's Day. The jury has now presented the nominees: tax researcher Åsa Gunnarsson, artist and author Sam Hultin, artist Zara Larsson, the women's shelter organization Unizon, and journalist My Vingren.
The nominees are honored for their courage, perseverance and work for equality, democracy and women's rights in an increasingly polarized society.
