Zara Larsson, currently on an acclaimed US tour, received the award for Best Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
"It's absolutely amazing," she told Billboard.
"When I look back at what happened this year, it's crazy, especially since I've been doing this for so long, it's not a "best new", it's a "best breakthrough". It shows that all the work we put in during the year, and before that, is paying off."
At the Swedish Grammis she was named Artist of the Year and also received the Pop of the Year award for the album "Midnight Sun". At the end of the gala in Stockholm she also appeared.
“It means so much to me to be appreciated at home,” she said.
