Since "Ginseng strip 2002" was released in 2013, Jonatan Leandoer, under the artist name Yung Lean, has become one of Sweden's largest hip-hop artists. Not least internationally, he is praised and sought after as a collaboration partner. Among those he has worked with are Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Charli XCX, and Robyn.

"Despite Jonatan Leandoer not having passed 30 years, he has already become a seasoned veteran in the hip-hop world through heavy beats, a restless sound image, and lyrics that hit like a bowling ball in the stomach", writes the copyright organization Stim in a press release.

Stim awards the Platinum Guitar to acknowledge creators who have had "exceptional successes" and can inspire others. Among previous winners are Max Martin, Benny Andersson, and Lykke Li.

On March 1, Yung Lean will perform his largest concert to date in Sweden, at the Avicii arena in Stockholm.
