This year's "Robinson" season is one of the most talked about in a long time – much due to Aron Sjölund, now 19 years old, who came out strong from the beginning.
After defeating Sara Mölldal and Pontus Croneld in a thrilling final that included archery, making fire and solving puzzles, he finally got to happily proclaim himself the winner of the program.
Now I get a lot of love. In the beginning, I got some hate, but now it's so much love that you get overwhelmed. You get warm when you go into your mobile and read.
Can be an advantage
As a big fan of the concept since childhood, he submitted his application to "Robinson" at midnight on his 18th birthday.
In the program, I say that I've been watching since I was six years old, but I don't really remember exactly. It's only in recent years that I've become hooked on the foreign versions, which are much more brutal than the Swedish edition.
Now he can imagine applying to the program in another country.
It may be an advantage that I'm the youngest winner ever.
Aron Sjölund played strategically throughout the season and managed to make himself an enemy of many, something he doesn't regret today.
The others put themselves on pretty high horses and said that I was immoral, but you shouldn't use your morals in "Robinson", I left that behind me when I came to the Philippines.
How do you think you played yourself?
Absolutely hard, but also impersonally. I haven't voted out anyone because I didn't like them, I think that's more unpleasant and ugly. There were several times when I voted out people I liked more than those who stayed, because it was better for me in the game.
Will travel
On Thursday, he graduated, the same week that the Swedish people get to see him win "Robinson". And what he will do with the prize money of 500,000 kronor is already decided.
I will travel in Southeast Asia for a few months, then train to become a tour leader on Mallorca. In the future, I might want to study psychology and become a psychologist, but first I will take several years to travel around. So that's kind of the plan, but the plan can also change.
