A young woman has died in a traffic accident on E45 outside Kil in Värmland.
The accident occurred at around 13:30 on Tuesday when a truck and a passenger car collided head-on. Subsequently, another passenger car was involved in the accident.
In the evening, the police announced that a woman in her late teens had died in the accident. Two people, a man in his 20s and a man in his 85s, were injured, but their injuries are not serious.
We have initiated an investigation to determine how this accident occurred, as there are many question marks, says police spokesperson Sophia Jiglind.
No criminal charges have been filed yet.
The truck was inspected on site, while the two passenger cars have been seized for a technical examination.
