When AIK defeated Mjällby 2-1, 20-year-old Adrian Holm and 21-year-old Victor Andersson scored the goals. In the next round, Ayari and Filling showed that they did not want to be outdone.
In the 49th minute of the match against Gais, Ayari broke the deadlock by coolly placing the ball past Gais goalkeeper Mergim Krasniqi. Ten minutes later, Filling scored to make it 2-0 into an empty net.

The victory, the team's third in a row, takes AIK up to third place in the league table. Gais, in turn, is seventh, two points behind "Gnaget".
