"We are building for the future. This championship will be a chance for many young people to take the step into the senior context and compete with the best in Europe. The focus is on development and experience, with our sights set on both Los Angeles 2028 and Melbourne 2032," says national team captain Martina Aronsson.
Established names such as Victor Johansson, Robin Hanson, Louise Hansson, Sophie Hansson, Sara Junevik, Hanna Rosvall and Sofia Åstedt are also selected.
“We have a fantastic mix of young talents and experienced role models,” says Martina Aronsson.
Superstar Sarah Sjöström, 32, became a mother in August and hopes to make a championship comeback at the European Long Track Championships in Paris in August next year.
