The man was visiting a woman in an apartment in the Rosengård district. He was then assaulted and tied up. At gunpoint, he was forced to give up bank details and was also drugged.
He was forced to take it himself, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
Olsson does not want to say what kind of drug it was.
The incident came to the attention of police on Thursday morning when the man raised the alarm. He had been held captive for several hours by then.
- This is said to have happened during the evening and night, says Evelina Olsson.
The man was taken to hospital for testing.
The police have filed a report of, among other things, aggravated robbery, unlawful detention and aggravated assault. No suspect has been arrested.
