The man was shot dead in a courtyard at around 5pm on November 5. The incident was caught on film.

According to Solna District Court, the accused men, aged 47 and 30, committed the murder together.

"The murder was carried out in a cold-blooded manner, with several shots fired while the victim had his back turned to the shooter. The whole thing cannot be seen as anything other than a pure execution," says councillor Josefin Mallmin in a comment.

The shots were fired by the 47-year-old. The 30-year-old drove the getaway car from the scene and then hid the weapon, according to the verdict.

According to the court, there is nothing to indicate that the men had any personal connection to the victim, but it is considered to be a contract killing.
