The alarm came at 20.15 on Thursday. According to the police, much indicates that the man, who according to information to TT is a rapper, has died from gunshot wounds and there are witnesses to the incident itself.

Deputy local police chief Johan Qvarfordt does not want to comment on the information.

It's a man in his 20s and we don't want to talk more about it due to relatives, he says.

A film is spreading on social media that allegedly shows the shooting, but it has not been confirmed whether it is the actual incident.

We have taken part of the film and it is part of our investigation. I want to emphasize that when you film a crime scene or a person who is in a very vulnerable position, it could be considered punishable. Therefore, I really advise against spreading the film further, says Qvarfordt.

Combo being sought

His colleague Dick Steisjö, duty officer at Region East, says it is uncertain whether the images are authentic.

We need to look a bit broader so that we don't get fooled by a fake film. But if the film is real, then we have a very good picture of what has happened, he says.

In connection with the shooting, a silver-colored combo is also said to have been observed at the scene and it is of interest to the police.

We appeal to the public to contact us if they have seen the car, says Qvarfordt.

Much indicates that the deceased is known to the police since before, according to the police. According to information to Aftonbladet, the man is linked to a criminal network, something the police do not want to confirm.

We are looking at the conflict situation continuously, of course. But I can't go into more on that, says Qvarfordt.

Want to be seen

Just before 11 am on Friday, no suspect had been arrested yet. The police are looking for one or more perpetrators and are going through material from cameras in the city center, among other things.

It's also about being visible on the streets, so that the people of Norrköping feel safe.

We are working extremely much on that and very offensively, says Qvarfordt.
