On the occasion of actor Gene Hackman's death, SVT is releasing the Hackman film "No Way Out" from 1987 on SVT Play on Thursday. The film can be seen for 30 days.
On SVT Play, "French Connection" from 1971 has been available earlier, where Gene Hackman plays the police officer "Popeye", a role that was awarded an Oscar for Best Male Lead.
Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead on Wednesday afternoon local time in their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
He was 95 years old.
