The statement from the military spokesman comes hours after the Houthi movement claimed to have carried out an attack on an oil facility in Saudi Arabia.
Government forces also carried out attacks on Houthi targets on Saturday, including the capital Sanaa.
A fragile ceasefire between the Houthi movement and Yemen's internationally recognized government, which is militarily supported by Saudi Arabia, collapsed in July. The country's civil war has been going on for more than a decade.
