Whether we then arrange buses or not, that is the big question, says SJ's press communicator Leila Fogelholm to P4 Stockholm.
Four packed trains from Stockholm to Duved, just west of Åre, are at risk of being stopped and SJ cannot guarantee any replacement buses.
If we don't run trains, it's probably not the right weather to take passengers out by bus either, Fogelholm tells P4 Stockholm.
On Saturday night and until 11pm on Saturday evening, very strong gusts of wind are expected in the central and northern parts of the country. Storms are also expected at times. SMHI has issued a yellow warning for strong winds extending from Dalarna and Hälsingland and further across the whole of Norrland.
In addition, an orange warning has been issued for strong winds and snowfall in large parts of the Lapland mountains throughout Saturday. On Thursday and Friday, the same warning applies to parts of the mountains in Norrbotten County.
"Do not venture out into the mountains unnecessarily, it is very difficult to orient yourself due to reduced visibility," writes SMHI, which also warns that roads may be blocked by fallen trees.
On Saturday, SMHI also warns of ice slips in eastern and northern Norrbotten.
