Yellow warnings for gale-force winds have been issued along the entire Baltic coast. On Gotland, SMHI has also issued a yellow warning for snowfall combined with wind.
The warning is valid until 8 p.m. on Sunday evening and the Swedish Transport Administration warns of difficult road conditions.
"Do not go out into traffic unless you absolutely have to. Adapt your driving style to the prevailing weather conditions and use rear fog lights," the authority writes on its website.
Destination Gotland has cancelled its early departures between Visby and Nynäshamn in both directions on Sunday due to severe weather. Afternoon departures have been postponed.
