Yasin Ayari impressed in Sweden's unfortunate loss of points against Slovenia. The Brighton midfielder has grown into an important cog for Blågult.

Ayari was at the center of events when Sweden played 2–2 away against Slovenia in the World Championship qualifying premiere.

The 21-year-old midfielder was behind both the 1–0 goal and the 2–1 goal and is rewarded with the best grade on the pitch, according to the statistics site Fotmob. Ayari himself was however noticeably disappointed after the match.

– It's tough. We lead until the last minutes and to concede a goal in that way, it's tough, says Ayari in Viaplay's broadcast after the match and continues:

I think we control the match. We must close earlier if I'm going to be completely honest. It's unfortunate.

The AIK-bred fighter put words to his performance after the match.

It's okay. Goals and assists from me. I think that's approved. In the game maybe I should be a bit more involved, it's a bit crowded in the middle, but it's okay.
