Ayari, who recently turned 23, made it 3-0 in the tenth minute of Brighton’s home game against Crystal Palace, scoring on the break. Just three minutes earlier, Diego Gómez had scored a spectacular goal from the halfway line.
Brighton eventually won 5–0, continuing the team's strong start to the season. Brighton have won five of their seven league matches and are level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table.
Yasin Ayari also scored earlier this season in the 5–0 away win against Coventry.
In the recent Nations League game, Ayari scored one of the goals in the 2-1 home win against Poland - and at this summer's World Cup, he scored twice in the 5-1 thrashing of Tunisia.
He scored three league goals last season.
