The Spanish football prodigy Lamine Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui, has been discharged from the hospital after the knife attack he was subjected to earlier in the week.
It was on Wednesday evening that he was stabbed several times on a parking lot in the town of Mataro, located about three miles outside Barcelona. He was taken to the hospital and reported to be seriously injured, but in a stable condition.
Four men were arrested on suspicion of the attack. All are still suspected of the crime, but only one of them is still detained.
Super talent Yamal turned 17 years old during the summer's European Championship, which ended with gold for the Barcelona player and Spain. When he scored a goal in the semi-final win against France, he became the youngest goal scorer of all time in a men's European Championship.
