In addition to Barcelona's teenage star Yamal, Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams and Osasuna's Victor Munoz have also suffered injuries at the end of their club seasons. The trio did not travel to Mexico for the match against Peru but stayed at the World Cup base in the United States.
"All three should be available for the next game. They are making good progress in their rehabilitation and are feeling very well," says De la Fuente.
The Athletic previously reported that Yamal is expected to miss the World Cup opener against Cape Verde in Atlanta on June 15. Spain also has Saudi Arabia and Uruguay in the group.
