Sony recently raised the prices of the Playstation 5 by around 500 kronor, and Nintendo that the upcoming console Switch 2 will land at 6,800 kronor.

Now Microsoft is following and raising prices on both Xbox consoles and other related hardware.

The Swedish gaming site FZ has made a table of the new price picture in Sweden. The price of Xbox series X is increased, for example, from 7,195 to 7,770, an increase of 575 kronor. Controllers will also become more expensive, and games may also increase in price.

"We understand that these changes are challenging, and they were made with careful consideration in terms of market conditions and the rising development costs", writes Microsoft on its website.
