The World Trade Organization WTO has released a report on the impact of the trade conflict between the USA and the rest of the world, not least China, will have in 2025.
If the tariffs remain at Monday's level, this year's trade is expected to decrease by 0.2 percent compared to how it would have been without the tariffs.
But if the US President Donald Trump makes his highest tariff threats a reality, WTO expects a decrease of 1.5 percent.
Not least North America is expected to get tough on the trade front. Exports from that region are expected to decrease by 12.6 percent this year, imports by 9.6 percent.
