"Future Finland" is a century-long research project that will follow the entire generation of children born in Finland between 2025 and 2029 and their families.

The project will study how health, living conditions, family and societal changes interact to shape well-being over time. The project aims to understand trends, now and in the future.

"A centennial perspective can provide answers to questions that we don't even know how to ask yet. The knowledge created through this research can benefit future generations in Finland and potentially all over the world," said the project's patron, former President Sauli Niinistö, in a comment.
