The bag is the fruit of many years of research in which lab-grown leather was developed by recreating the molecular "puzzle" of a protein from a large dinosaur, using artificial intelligence.
"It is impossible to estimate a price for it," says Alexandre Giquello, auctioneer at Drouot in Paris, to BFM TV.
But we estimate that it will go for between 300,000 and 500,000 euros.
