Sunday's European Championship semi-final will be a repeat of last year's World Championship final, when Åhman/Hellvig won after two hard-fought sets.
Åhman and Hellvig won their quarter-final over the French pair Bassereau/Aye 2-0 in sets, 21-16, 21-18. Both sets were close for a long time, but the Swedes were stronger towards the end.
It was a really tough match, we are very happy that we won, says Hellvig in SVT.
Hölting Nilsson/Andersson needed three sets to defeat the Swiss pair Heidrich/Haussener, 21-17, 19-21, 15-11.
It was a tough end to the second set, but we showed character in the third, says Hölting Nilsson.
