Shortly after this summer's World Cup, several media outlets reported that Elliot Stroud was on the verge of leaving Listerlandet for Premier League newcomers Hull. But the deal has dragged on and Stroud has played five games for Mjällby since the World Cup.
Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Slovan Bratislava was his last.
Hull is paying Mjällby around 27 million kronor, plus bonuses, for Stroud, according to Expressen.
Hull will face Manchester United in the Premier League opener on August 22.
