+ The Swiss have reached the quarter-finals on three occasions at the World Cup - in 1934, 1938 and 1954. But they have had a tougher time since then. At the last three championships, 2014 in Brazil, 2018 in Russia and 2022 in Qatar, the national team made it to the round of 16. That's where Switzerland is right now - and they believe in the possibility of going further. Twenty-year-old Johan Manzambi - who lives in Freiburg, Germany - has proven to be the key to national team captain Murat Yakin's team. The star was also behind the early goal in the round of 16 against Algeria, a match that ended in a 2–0 victory. Manzambi has been responsible for three goals and two assists during the championship.
+ Like Switzerland, Colombia is undefeated at the World Cup. In addition, coach Nestor Lorenzo's team has proven difficult to score against. So far, the team has conceded only one goal, and that was in the opener against Uzbekistan.
