The open ticket sales for the World Cup have begun - but for those who dream of experiencing the final in person, you need a substantial budget.
The championship, which is being played in the United States, Mexico and Canada, ends with a final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19. The final's ticket prices are historically high.
According to the BBC, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has set prices of up to 100,000 kronor - or $10,990 - for a seat in the stands during the title match. That is the highest ticket price ever offered for general sale at a World Cup.
For comparison, final tickets to the World Cup in Qatar cost around 15,000 kronor, according to the BBC.
