Linn Grant shows strong form ahead of the Olympics. In her last golf tournament before departing for Paris, the LPGA tournament in Ohio, the Swede came third – her best result on the USA tour this year.
Last year, she won the tournament in Sylvania, Ohio, Grant's only win on the LPGA tour so far.
Defending a title is something new for me, said Grant before the final round.
Grant finished fourteen under par overall and was six strokes behind the winner Chanette Wannasaen, Thailand, and five behind the runner-up Ryu Hae-ran, South Korea.
She finished the last day on 68 strokes, three under par, after making a double bogey on the final hole.
