"I want to complete my collection of Olympic medals. I have a silver and a bronze. Now we want a gold," says Dahlberg in a press release.
He won silver in the 470 at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 (together with Fredrik Bergström). For the Paris Olympics, it was decided that the 470 would become a mixed class, and then Anton Dahlberg and Lovisa Karlsson began sailing together - which resulted in an Olympic bronze in 2024.
And now that Lovisa Karlsson has finished her education, she and Dahlberg have decided to make a new Olympic effort.
"It's not just the gold that attracts, but the whole journey we're starting now will be awesome," says Karlsson.
