A woman and a man in their 30s have been detained after a fatal shooting in Södertälje on Friday, reports Länstidningen. The woman is suspected of having fired the shots.

The woman is suspected of murder and attempted murder. The man is suspected of aiding and abetting murder and attempted murder as well as protecting a criminal.

Both were arrested on Tuesday afternoon on probable cause, the stronger degree of suspicion. They deny the crimes.

The woman was sentenced as recently as in April this year to three years in prison for serious narcotics offense regarding the sale of one kilogram of amphetamine in August last year. She was, according to LT, on the loose awaiting the start of serving her sentence when the shooting took place.

A man in his 18s was killed in the shooting on Friday evening and a young man was injured, but not life-threateningly. Both the woman and the man were arrested during the night after the murder.

Additionally, a third, younger person has been arrested suspected of involvement in the murder, writes LT. That person has not yet been requested to be arrested.
