The woman was taken to hospital with one or more stab wounds and the injuries are assessed by the region as serious but not life-threatening, reports SVT Nyheter Örebro .
The incident occurred at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The area was cordoned off, but at 11:30 a.m. the parking lot at the shopping center was reopened and the cordons were lifted.
A person was seen running from the scene after the incident.
At 7 p.m. in the evening, the police announced that a man in his 30s had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The man will be questioned and the investigation will, among other things, try to clarify the motive and sequence of events.
