The traffic accident occurred near Masthuggstorget. It is a collision between a tram and a person, says Adam Isaksson Samara, press spokesperson at the police, to Göteborgs-Posten.
The woman, who is in her 60s, is being treated for serious injuries but her condition is considered stable.
