It was on the couple's anniversary last year that the woman decided to move the bench to the place where she proposed to her husband.
Now the woman is being sentenced for theft. Helsingborg's district court has decided that she will have to pay 17,000 kronor to the municipality as well as a fine of 10,000 kronor.
The woman admits to having moved the bench but claims that she did not intend to keep it. She denies the theft.
