The woman was to clean a guest house and entered a bedroom without her phone. The door could not be opened from the inside due to a broken lock.

In the room there was neither food, water nor toilet.

After several failed attempts to get out, the woman bit her own finger, and used the blood to write "110 625" on a pillow. 110 is the emergency number in China and 625 was the room she was in.

The woman threw the pillow out the window and a food delivery person saw the message and alerted the police, which led to the woman being rescued.

The food delivery person who raised the alarm has been rewarded with the equivalent of 4,000 Swedish kronor by the authorities for his heroic effort.
