On Wednesday morning last week, a major search operation was launched after two people were reported missing after a boat trip. The people were found, but the man's life could not be saved.
The woman was detained on the lower level of suspicion and, after the detention hearing, the prosecution has decided to lift the detention.
"I do not believe that there are currently any reasons to continue to detain the woman and have therefore decided to release her," says District Attorney Clara Åbyhammar in a press release.
