"She is basically a quite physically ill individual, but I believe that she has given a misleading picture of how ill she has been and has greatly exaggerated her needs for help," says prosecutor Anton Larsson Forsberg.
The woman was first granted compensation in 2018. According to the prosecutor, she has not submitted relevant documents to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (FK) nor reported any changes in circumstances.
The indictment is based on an anonymous tip, which led FK to make a home visit and report the woman to the police.
