The accident occurred on County Road 695 south of Edsvalla on May 12 last year. According to the indictment, the woman was using her cell phone while driving, which is believed to have contributed to the accident.
The man died from his injuries two days later. The woman must also pay just over 130,000 kronor (about $12,400) in damages, partly to the deceased man's estate.
