Healthcare worker stabbed during home visit in Helsingborg

A 25-year-old woman was seriously injured in a knife attack on Saturday evening while working in home care in Helsingborg. A woman in her 50s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Around 9:30 p.m., a 25-year-old woman was stabbed in the leg by a woman she was visiting for home care. Helsingborgs Dagblad writes that, according to police, the suspect was drunk at the time of the crime.

According to Region Skåne, the injuries were assessed as serious, and the woman underwent surgery on Saturday evening.

The woman in her 50s is being held on suspicion of attempted murder and attempted aggravated assault on an officer in connection with the arrest.
