The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance. According to Region Skåne, she has life-threatening injuries after the incident on Thursday morning.
It is unclear how the woman was hit, the police say.
The current legal situation is gross negligence in traffic. The driver will be questioned, but is currently in shock after the incident, says police spokesperson Leif Fransson to Helsingborgs Dagblad.
