It was passers-by who discovered the woman outdoors in a residential area in Kista on Thursday. She was then seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital, in an ambulance helicopter, where she is now receiving care.
The police initially suspected that she had been subjected to an attempted murder and a sharp object was seized. However, it later emerged that the woman had inflicted the injuries herself, according to the police.
