A man, also aged 65, who was in the home when police arrived has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Further questioning will be carried out with him tomorrow, says the duty police officer Magnus Schildt.
Police and ambulance were called to the address at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The residence is cordoned off and police have conducted a technical examination.
