The police cannot rule out that a crime is behind the death and a man in his 50s who was in the residence has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The alarm about the incident came on Friday afternoon.
It was the man who was in the apartment who alerted, says the police's press spokesperson Filip Annas.
He says that the woman and the man knew each other, but does not want to go into what relationship they had.
The apartment was cordoned off for a technical examination. The police have also gone door-to-door in the area to try to find any potential witnesses.
