A person was found dead in Vänersborg municipality on Sunday afternoon. Later in the evening, the police confirmed that it was a woman who had been reported missing earlier, reports TTELA.
Since we cannot rule out that a crime has been committed at this stage, an investigation into murder has been initiated, said August Brandt, the police's press spokesperson to the newspaper.
The woman is from the Gothenburg area. Her relatives have been informed.
There is no suspect or arrested person.
