Together with her adult son, the woman, who lives in Helsingborg, has on several occasions over the years expressed herself threateningly towards neighbors and staff from the landlord.
The letters to the neighbors were sent with the signature of the landlord's lawyer, with the law firm's logo and address on, and accused the neighbors of disturbing with noise and litter from barbecuing.
"These are very simple rules to follow here in Sweden", it says in the letters.
The landlord terminated the contract, but when the woman refused to move, the matter went to the rent tribunal – which ruled in favor of the landlord. The decision can be appealed.
The fake letters were later discovered when a worried neighbor who did not recognize the criticism contacted the law firm in question. The letters resemble the warning letters the woman herself had received from the landlord after previous incidents.
