The woman was in her 60s and was diving with a man when the accident happened. The alarm about the incident came in at 8:20 p.m., and an ambulance was called to the scene.
The incident is being investigated as manslaughter, but there is no suspect.
This is because it cannot currently be ruled out that someone negligently caused or contributed to the death in question, Otto Eriksson, duty officer at police, told the newspaper.
