A woman is dead after being stabbed in Norwegian Hønefoss.
An alarm about a fight came to the police just before 11 o'clock on Wednesday. On the scene, the police found a woman who was seriously injured. She was taken to hospital but died from her injuries.
A knife-wielding man in his 40s was shot by the police in connection with the intervention, reports NRK. It is unclear what injuries he sustained from the police shots.
The police believe it is an isolated incident. The man and the woman knew each other previously, states the police in a press release, reports VG.
