A woman has died after being hit by a tram in Gothenburg.
The accident occurred on Aschebergsgatan in central Gothenburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and has now died, police say.
The accident is being investigated as negligent driving; however, there is currently no suspect.
How the accident happened is something we will now look into further within the framework of the preliminary investigation, says Adam Isaksson Samara, press spokesperson for the police.
