According to a press release from the Prosecution Authority, the woman was found seriously injured in a home on Saturday evening. She has since been treated in hospital but died of her injuries on Monday evening.
A 35-year-old man who was acquainted with the woman was arrested at the scene and has now been remanded in custody on suspicion of murder.
