A passerby found the woman lifeless in a ditch by a road. A bicycle was also found next to the woman, which police suspect belonged to the woman.
The alarm was received on Thursday evening and no one has yet been arrested. However, the police believe they know which vehicle may have been involved. The police have opened a preliminary investigation into manslaughter and fleeing the scene of a traffic accident.
