A woman has died after an alarm about drowning in Karlskrona on Christmas Eve, reports Blekinge Läns Tidning.
The police discovered a walker standing by a pier and a search operation was launched, after which a woman was found in the water.
On the night of Boxing Day, the police confirmed to the newspaper that the woman had died. There are no suspicions of foul play.
