The woman cut a hole in the sleeping girl's underwear so that parts of her buttocks were visible, photographed and posted the picture on Facebook. Now she is convicted of offensive photography and unlawful invasion of privacy, reports SVT News Västerbotten.
The woman, who is in her 40s, says that she made a so-called "nissebus" – when adults play a prank on children before Christmas – and that she only shared the picture with her circle of acquaintances.
But the district court in Lycksele believes that the spread of the photo could have damaged the girl's private life and integrity and sentences the woman to pay 15,000 kronor in damages to the girl.
